Meet Jennifer
Jennifer Aguillard PT, PCS is a licensed physical therapist and Board Certified Pediatric Clinical Specialist with over 30 years of experience. Jennifer began her career working in large hospitals in Georgia, Delaware, and North Louisiana. Although not exclusively a pediatric therapist at that time, she always volunteered to work with the young patients.
She then moved back to her hometown, where she was a physical therapist in the New Orleans area school system for 12 years working with children from 3 to 21 years of age. Moving to Acadiana in 2009 sparked a change. Jennifer chose to work exclusively in early intervention (ages 0-3). Ten years of doing early intervention is what sparked the magic.
“In the past 10 years of doing early intervention, I have seen profound changes in young patients that I never saw in adults.”
Practicing in southern Louisiana, Jennifer specializes in early intervention pediatric physical therapy, both in clinical and home health settings.
A member of both the Louisiana and American Physical Therapy Associations (LPTA and APTA), she uses evidence-based approach to therapy with proven methods.
Jennifer works to bring to the latest techniques, tools, and methodologies to her practice with intensive continuing education in advanced clinical practice of pediatric physical therapy. She is a member of Early Intervention Special Interest Group of Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy (APPT).
